What do I wear?
Come as you are. We here at Journey are interested in who you are, not what you wear. Be comfortable. You will find others wearing anything from jeans and a t-shirt to business casual.
What is worship like?
Our main goal is to praise and honor God as well as uplift our people. Our style has a high emphasis of contemporary worship songs blended with timeless hymns. Our main mode of worship is a cappella, but we are comfortable with instrumental worship and will occasionally use them for special events.
What does Sunday morning look like?
Come on in and a greeter will meet you at the door.
Grab a bulletin and feel free to have a cup of coffee or donut.
We take communion every week to remember Christ’s sacrifice. Feel free to join us.
We collect an offering after the communion time. This is for regular attenders and members of our church. Please do not feel obligated to give.
If you have children please visit the Check-in Station located down the hall way. Children will be checked in and ramain with you. Children are dismissed after offering for Kids Worship (about 15-20 minutes into the service). They will enjoy singing, teaching, games and a lesson geared for their age group. For younger children (birth – 3 years) we would love for you to drop them off in the nursery (birth – 2yrs.) or Toddler Room (2 & 3 year olds) located in the main hallway. If you need assistance please ask at the Check-in Desk.
After the kids head to Kids Worship the adults get to enjoy a message from the Word. Messages are fun, energetic, relevant, and rooted in Scripture.
Following the message we would love to pray with you. If you need prayer for any reason, our Elders will be there to pray with you. Those needing prayer will be directed following the service.
